THE STORY

ENI HAZIRI

This background was created as an environment asset for a 2D side-scroller. The brief was simple: a night sky that felt atmospheric and alive, drawn entirely in a pixel art style with no AI generation.

ENI HAZIRI

Every element was hand-placed — the star clusters, the cloud layer depth, the moon's soft halo glow. The layered clouds were designed to scroll at different parallax speeds in-engine.

DESIGN NOTES

The purple and deep navy palette was chosen to feel moonlit without being too dark. The pixel clouds at the base ground the sky and give a sense of floating above the world.

ENI HAZIRI

The asset was exported for use in Unity as both a static background and as individual layers for parallax scrolling. Total production time was around 4 hours.
